What is the consequence of inactivating the EOEN_MSG in HCM? Is there any negative impact?

We would like to know if we inactivate the EOEN_MSG will it have negative impact or what do we lose? It is being triggered in our prod system today quite often. What we are trying to understand is what is it that we do here that triggers the messages and do we need them? I see on Oracle Support this message is for Alerts and Notifications is it workflow/AWE? And I'm trying to determine if we have any issue with the message being inactive. From the information I've read it seems connected with ePerformance and eProfile and job changes trigger the message. We use minimal pieces
