Best Practices for upgrade Oracle Database and Oracle Siebel

Hi,

We would like to upgrade our Oracle Siebel CRM system, below are detail origin version and destination version:


Operating System Initial Version: Windows Server 2008 R2 SE

Operating System Destination Version: Windows Server 2022

Oracle Database Initial Version: Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 10.2.0.5

Oracle Database Destination Version: Oracle Database 19c

Oracle Siebel Initial Version: Oracle Siebel CRM 8.1.1.5

Oracle Siebel Destination Version: Oracle Siebel CRM IP 22


Is it possible if we use below approach for upgrade process?

  1. Upgrade Oracle Database server from Oracle DB 10.2.0.5 to Oracle Database 19c
  2. Fresh installation on Oracle Siebel CRM IP 22 and repointing the application to Upgraded Oracle Database 19c
