Oracle Custom Password Policy

Hi all,

I've scoured the questions on this subject and couldn't quite find the answer, so hoping I can get it here. I'm looking to implement the custom password policy profile option and have the sample Oracle Java class to do so. I have 2 questions on it.

  1. I see that we have to have the 'hard to guess' option blank, I understand that part. Does this also mean that the other options are then redundant? For example, we'd like to keep the reuse option but would we have to code that too or would the profile option still be active?
