Changing unit cost for "In Progress" order numbers

I have a question regarding updating the cost of a rental item. I've been using E1 for about 6 months now so I'm still unfamiliar with everything it's capable of.

I know we can use P4105 to change the cost of an item within a Branch/Plant, but is there a way to change the cost of 1 item on a specific Order Number with an "In Progress" (200) contract status? I'm not looking to change the cost of an item for the whole branch/plant, just for one order number.

If there's any documentation on this I would appreciate that as well.
