The existing class file is not reflecting in extends section while performing CO Extension in JDev.

While performing the CO Extension on existing class ,the existing class is not reflecting in extends section when creating new Java class in JDeveloper 12.2.10 patch. I placed the existing class file in myproject and myclasses folder but still its not reflecting in JDeveloper.
