Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Dear all,

We must upgrade the O/S of an Oracle 12.2 64-bit from Red Hat version 7 to 8.

Are there any steps that we should perform at the database level before or after the O/S upgrade? Is this supported?
