Lot/Serial Next Number creation (Opts 2 + 6) with custom format?

Good day,

My organization is trying to start using the Lot & Serial Creation feature so we automatically generate Lot Numbers when completing Work Orders or when receiving Purchase Orders.

I see, however, only options for creation based on dates or based on a next number. We like the idea of the next number, but I want to know if there is a possibility to customize this next number, meaning to give it a specific format. E.g.

"Text" + Date + Next Number / FV_20230131_00001

Something in the likes. I know this is possible, for instance, in the next numbering for License Plates in JDE WMS. Is there a similar feature for Lots & Serials?
