Getting oracle errors on various things in SYS.DBMS


ORA-24010 / SMG-4120 / SMG-4121



It would appear that Oracle is running into issues so that it creates a large amount of TRC data, and this trace data appears to be related to DBMS_PRBTAQIM and DBMS_AQADM_SYS being marked as ‘invalid’ by Oracle. Or at least that appears to be part of the problem.

I’m noticing these errors every 5 minutes in the alert_adva.log. On systems with limited space available on the C:\ partition, this is causing C:\ to run out of space. 

While I was investigating this, The first part queried DBA_OBJECS, trying to find objects that had been marked ‘INVALID’.
