Will it affect any transactions if we enable a closed BU account distribution?

An invoice was canceled and then the create accounting report was scheduled to run, there is an error. The error is that the invoice has 2 different account distributions (different BUs, one is closed, one is active).

Now, the business wants to confirm what will happen if we enable that account distribution and then correct it error.

Will it affect any business activity or other transactions, knowing it is from a closed BU.
