Create CDB and non-CDB databases under a same Oracle Home

Hello Guys,

We have a non-CDB production database currently running on 19.21, As the application is expected to be decommissioned in a year or so. we will not migrate it and will let it retire when the time comes. However we have a new project coming which requires CDB databases. Can we create the CDB databases under the same oracle software as in the same oracle home which we created our existing non-CDB database? I didn't seem to find any discussions about this on the internet. Can we do this? What will be the major concerns by doing so?
