What is the difference between the two Stockless checkboxes?

PSFSCM Version 9.2.042


What is the functional difference between the two Stockless checkboxes? One is under Purchasing Item Attributes, Misc. Controls and Options; the other is under Purchasing Item Attributes, Item Supplier, Supplier Attributes. I can't seem to find a distinction between the two in the documentation, so I can't tell if both need to be checked, or just the one in Misc. Controls and Options.
