Poller PollTime vs Metrics PollTime

Hello, does anyone have thorough understanding how the PollTime settings of the polling Service and metrics definition is related? We have inconsistent results and I am wondering if it is a misunderstanding of the behaviour on our side.

Input parameters:

• Metric1 - PollTime = 300
• Metric2 - PollTime = 60
• Metric3 - PollTime = 900
• Polling Service (e.g. Metric Generic SNMP Poller) - PollTime = 60

Expected behaviour:

Polling Service will execute polling cycle every 60 sec, but every cycle only Metric2 will be collected, Metric1 will be collected every 5 cycles (minutes) and Metric3 every 15 cycles (minutes).

Actual Behaviour:

PollTime of the Metric setting is ignored. All Metrics are collected every poll cycle (60 sec).
