Selected Record has been modified by another user while making changes in WF

Hi All,

I have been facing this issue whenever iam working on a workflow which is created by me and it it not allowing me to save the record and throw th error Selected Record has been modified by another user.


I have go through 3/4 rounds of closing the wf ot deleted th step and re create the same. Time consuming.. pls suggest
