expanding storage pool capacity

in Oracle Solaris File Systems and Disk Management (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered

i have spark server S7-2 running Solaris 11.3, the server has 4 disks of600 GB each and every 2 disks are configured as mirror in zpools ( rpool and ldoms), i have 4 logical domains running on my primary server (app-server, database, web-app, web-rep) i want to add 2 disks to the host in free disk slots.

the new disks are 1.2 TB, and i want to expand the capacity of the (app-server and Database) logical domains.


please help me to find the best approach for this expansion, precautions, needed downtimes, and how to do it step by step please.
