Goldengate settings during Datawarehouse exadata migration (X9 to X10)

Hi,

We have a DWH database running on Oracle version 19.19 and in a multi tennant environment. We want to move this database to our own exadata environment.

We will move the DWH database to the new environment (X9 to X10) by installing it from scratch. After installing the infrastructure, we will create an outage in the old environment and move all objects to the new environment.

When the new exadata arrives, we will take time for the outage and stop all extracts and replicates in Goldengate.

Actually, what I want to ask is that after moving DWH to the new environment, if we change the connection information and password in the config of the replicates to point to the new server, will we have a problem in replication to the new environment with the same trail files?

Howdy, Stranger!
