How is item cost captured in cycle count entry for PAC orgs

R12.2.10

We see item cost is captured in each cycle count entry record. However for every item, each record's item cost is different though entry is done on the same day , though for different sub inventory and locator combination.

When item's Periodic cost is showing one particular value in item costs inquiry window, where do these individual costs come from and why?

If the cycle count entry has to capture item cost for each record, is there a standard report that displays this information of item cost that's used in the cycle count record?
