Morning, regarding the new NI investment codes introduced by the 24/25 UK TYE/SOY Patch 36209339.

 

We tried to apply code N (equiv of code A) to a random employee from 06-Apr-2024 and received an error message saying that code was invalid.

 

Through trial and error and checking the Oracle document, it appears that the new codes can only be applied to employees who started employment within the last 3 years – and are based on something called ‘significant change’ to duties.

 

So I tried to add the new code to employees who started in 2021 and 2022 with no luck, I still got the error.
