error unpacking rpm package cpio error 0x2

Oracle Linux 8

Today i could not log into my servers (several). I got in through the console and then discovered that openssh server eas not running.

Checked for update in yum and when updating ssh i got this error

Error unpacking rpm package .... cpio: (error 0x2)

There is enough space and a yum clean + reboot did not solve the problem. Anyone else been through this and can help me solve it?
