Source column question for Fixed Assets Upload with ADI

Hi Asset gurus,

I have a question regarding Fixed Assets. We are using Oracle EBS (12.2).

We use an ADI template to upload assets. In this template there is a column named 'Source'.

When we enter a value in this cell, it gets uploaded with a period at then end of the value.

For example if i enter value 'TEST1' in the Source column (on the ADI upload template).

This gets uploaded as 'TEST1.' (TEST1 with a dot at the end)


The user then typically has to go into each record in EBS and remove the dot/period at the end of the value manually.
