Installing Oracle Database 19c Client on RHEL9 server

Has anyone successfully installed Oracle Client specifically on a RHEL9 system?

The package compat-libpthread-nonshared has been removed in RHEL9, which removes a core file needed during the client install, libpthread_nonshared.a.

We tried the workarounds which essentially seem to address the same issue with different methods in Doc ID 2969734.1 and Doc ID 2984237.1.

Doc ID 2969734.1:

States that patches 35042068 and 35681671 should be installed onto the Oracle Client home. However, when updating to a compatible version of OPatch and running the opatch apply, it outputs that the both patches are not needed.
