Same EMPLID for Different ADM_APPL_NBR
Dear Concerns,
I am writing to address an issue regarding an applicant who applied to our university for Fall 2023. Her data was entered into our system via (Main Menu > Student Admissions > Application Transaction Mgmt > Application Transaction). Subsequently, she was matriculated for the same term. However, she did not continue her studies and discontinued in Fall 2023.
Now, the same student has reapplied for Fall 2024. We entered her ID using the same navigation as before. However, we encountered an issue where the system generated the same EMPLID that she had in Fall 2023. Consequently, we matriculated her for Fall 2024 using this EMPLID mistakenly. As a result, there are now two application numbers associated with one EMPLID. We need to rectify this situation by changing the EMPLID for Fall 2024 while preserving her previous records.
