Do I have to install 19c Goldengate twice?

Plan: migrate from 12c GG to 19c GG while source db is 12c then upgrade db to 19c

Current Setup:

database /u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1 ; Oracle Database 12c Enterprise Edition Release 12.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production

Goldengate:Version 12.3.0.1.220228 OGGCORE_12.3.0.1.0OGGBP_PLATFORMS_220218.2129_FBO

Need GG install: Version 19.20.0.0.230718 OGGCORE_19.20.0.0.0OGGRU_PLATFORMS_230719.1510_FBO

My 12.3 GG is running in classic mode currently. Will continue to be in 19c as well.

Will be running silent install.

My understanding is that I will have to do 19c GG with install_option=ORA12c, correct?

A week after converting from 12c to 19c for GG I will be upgrading database to 19c.
