How can I enter different delivery dates in a Outside Process PO, without breaking the link with the

I wonder if anybody out there has come to this scenario with outside processing and if you have a way to resolve it.

We send an outside process PO to our vendor for a quantity of 1000 EA (for coating for example).

Later on, our vendor report to us they can’t deliver all 1000 EA at once, as promised before.

For example, they will send the parts coated in 3 different batches, in 3 different dates.

Let’s 400 on period 1, 300 period 2 and the remaining 300 on period 3.

I want all these dates reflect correct in my supply & demand, so I need to change the delivery dates in the PO.
