Can I receive the Supeseeded Item in the PO Receiving

Dear

Can I receive the superseeded item in the PO Receiving?

For example, I have created a PO With Item A for 1000 Quantity. This item is superseeded by Item B and Item C. While doing the PO receiving can the user receive

Item A - 250 Qty

Item B - 400 Qty

Item C - 350 Qty
