Users picked incorrect time period while entering the time report in the Time Entry module

PeopleSoft Expense- Time Entry module, PUM 43.

Per our payment cycle the users are to have the time reports submitted for the period Oct 08 -Oct 21, 2023 and so on but one of user entered time report for Oct 15-Oct 28 and was Approved. This time report made it to Project costing module making it difficult to correct the entry.

For every biweekly period, system generates a unique time period id. Using Adjustment / even the Modify feature user can only modify the hours entered or the project details within that biweekly period. The system does not allow to modify the time period/week as that bi-weekly period is now assigned to that time report id.
