What does the error "Potential Duplicate Address Exists" mean?

I made a change to one of our suppliers and when I clicked the Green Check, I was given the error of "Potential Duplicate Address Exists." However, it seemed like my change was still saved. Usually when I receive a hard error (red) nothing is saved. I can't seem to find anything on My Oracle Support Community.
