HCM Lockdown Framework - Locking when specific processes are running

PeopleSoft 9.2 HR Through PI 39, Tax 23D

We are attempting to add additional controls for our Payroll Back Office team using the Process lock type...specifically while the Calc and Confirm are processing; we would like to ensure the payroll team is locked out of the specific components while the Calc/Confirm are actively running. When the processing is complete, the users will automatically have access the components/pages again.

Can you confirm that what we want to do is feasible?

We are using HCM_LockdownFramework_TechnicalBrief.pdf and Peoplebooks as a guide for configuration.
