Does enabling LACP bonding interface on ODA 19.21 require configuration on the switch?

We have an x8-2s ODA on 19.20.

When re-imaging ODA to 19.21 it looks like we have the option to select LCAP bonding. Does this require configuration on the network switch? Does this use the bonding mode of "802.3ad"?

Also, the deployment and user guide for 19.21 always shows btbond3 for this configuration. Can we use LCAP on the btbond1 configuration (for the Public Network)?
