Simulating Cost for Process is overstating X costs.

Hi all,

Using 9.2. Using a Process (AGPROCESS), with anywhere form 3-40 co/by products associated to a single routing step.

We supply work center rates (A-D) and then we define X costs at the Process item. When running simulation, we expect the costs to aggregate at the AGPROCESS item and apply to the co/by products based on % - if 30 items, divide total AGPROCESS cost by 30 and place that in the corresponding cost for co/by product.

This was working, however, I'm new to assisting and I believe I must be missing the step that provides the QTY by which to divide the X costs for the co/by products. Right now, the process and the co/by products match, whereas the expectation is that the process item has the full cost and the items under the process bear their percentage for the X costs. This has been working in our system for years, but in following the steps left by the retiree - we believe we're missing the crucial step to get it to factor out.
