How many storage does a DBSystem need for its VM?

Hi,

trying to size a Database Appliance which will be running with virtualized DB-Systems. My question is: how many storage space does a DB-System need for its own VM?

Storage is used for ASM disk groups. Internal 400GB-SSDs are used for GI and OS. But each VM needs some space for its metadata, OS, etc. Is that space required on the internal or "external" storage and how many GB does one need for each VM/DB-System?
