Item Availability Across Branches

Hi,

We are starting to look at using backorders but I have a question on the system seeing availability across different branches.

Currently we have a manufacturing branch (CON) and a warehouse branch (HDC). Work orders are entered under CON and sales orders are entered under HDC.

We include open WO's in our availability calculation but because these are separate branches HDC would not see it and as a result these orders may be getting placed on backorder even though items are being produced.

How do we address this?

We are on tools / apps 9.2.
