R12.2.9: GS1 Implementation

We {removed name} are in the phase of GTIN implementation where we are currenlty evaluating different soolution to bridge few gaps around the out of box functionality of Oracle.

Refereing to the WMS user guide (Attached) we wanted your advice if there are any white papers or oracle docuemntation which would assist us for the below problem statement:

Problem Statement:

1. We are planning to split our items based on Supplier GTINS's and pack size as part of GS1 rollout. However there is no out of box solution provided by Oracle when it comes to ISO/O2C flow related to expiry. i.e. if we have same items say paracetamol supplied by 2 suppliers with the same ingredients due we would have 2 item code in Oracle and while releasing it would not check the FEFO expiry logic across these items and would only check it for the item for which request was raised. even in case where one item is out
