Linux Password Inactive Policy

Hello,

I am looking to setup the password inactive policy for all users system wide instead of individual user. there is no option in /etc/login.defs for "Password Inactive" .


# chage -l scott

Last password change                                   : Dec 10, 2023

Password expires                                       : Mar 09, 2024

Password inactive                                      : Mar 23, 2024

Account expires                                        : Mar 09, 2024

Minimum number of days between password change         : 1

Maximum number of days between password change         : 90

Number of days of warning before password expires      : 7
