Possibility of making Child BC editable while the parent is read-only

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement to make a child business component editable, while the parent business component is read-only, is this possible?

For example, under the Service Request, I added a custom business component linked with the Service Request business component with a link, on the Service Request, I have a BC Read Only User Property which makes the Service Request BC read-only based on specific conditions, this user property caused the child BC to also becomes read-only, so I need a way to make the child BC editable, is this possible?

Appreciate your help.

We are using Siebel CRM Version 20.12.
