Issue of duplicate lot number in WO order

Hi,

I have an issue where system is allowing to work order completion in same lot number which is used for same item and B/P from earlier work order. In processing option of P31114 duplicate lot/serial is not allowed is activated then also system is allowing to complete the WO on same lot. This is happening in WO where QC is activated, if QC is deactivated then WO completion is not happening. Can anyone help me why this is happening and how to stop this ?
