PR young exemption on first 40 thousand
HCM 9.2 and Time and Labor 9.2
Just wandering if anyone has Puerto Rico employees that claim the Young exemption on their 499 R-4.1 form. I know that I need new earning code so it can be exempt wages and go into box 16e on their W-2PR. Is there a way to control this with Time and labor to use the exempt code until they hit the 40 thousand and then tax them after or how are other companies doing this?
