When rebooting JDE 8.12 environment and full package build why does it break Vertex?

In our JDE 8.12 environment we deployed a full package build and rebooted our environment. after doing so the Vertex application stopped working. Is there something we need to do to the JDE 8.12 or Vertex servers or environments to resolve our issues?
