Oracle AP3900 - Max-files setting in account-config

in Acme Packet (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered ✓

AP3900 running version 9.00p6

CDR push is configured in the account-config. In case of (S)FTP transfer problem, the SBC will store CDR files locally, up to the limits configured under max-files and max-file-size. Then the older files will be deleted.

The accounting guide mentions:

Oracle recommends you limit local CDR storage on your system to 30M. For example, if you retain the max-file-size default (1 MB), set max-files to 30.

There is today 37 GB available on the /opt partition where the CDR files are stored.

Is it ok to configure a higher value for max-files? What would be a realistic limit?

Howdy, Stranger!
