Is it possible to bypass Collections Module in Oracle R12.2.11 for Dunning Letters

Hi,

We are working on R11 to R12.2.11 upgrade project for the University. In 11i they had used the Dunning letters feature to send reminders to the students, whereas in R12 they have not implemented the Collections module.

Could you please address the following queries in this regard?

1. As Oracle recommended to implement Collections in R12.2.11 version, which is not suitable option for the customer. Is it possible to Bypass Collections (IEX)?
2. If the answer the above query is Yes, please suggest the alternate approaches?
3. As per our understanding, we can implement the custom program to have the 11i Dunning letters to R12 to populate data custom tables with the replica of ar_dunning_letters, ar_correspondences_all, ar_corr_pay_sched_all etc. But how to get the dunning letters of R12 version once it went live. Thanks
