Validation of an associated asset

We are running on Siebel 21.12. We are looking for some solution on enabling a validation for assets (S_ASSET) that could be added to a single activity (S_EVT_ACT) record. There is the "Assets" MVG that is based on "Action/Asset Mgmt - Asset" link with M:M relationship. Our intention is to allow adding only assets with the same paremetrs. For example, when the new activitiy is created, the user could associate several assets to it, however only assets with the same type could be associated. We can't use any filter on the Association applet, as we need to display all
