Custom OAF, the record is not getting saved, if data not entered in one particular column

Oracle R 12.2.10

OAF

  1. Created a custom OAF page for Inserting new records
  2. One column, it is not primary key
  3. Still record is not saving into DB if this column is empty

What could be the resaon of such a behaviour
