Useless "A" warning messages?

In E1 9.2 Release 22, I am working in Work With Detail Messages (P3411) after running MRP (R3482). For an item, I am seeing some "A" (warning messages) with Planner Remarks (alias DSC1) that has messages like "BOM does not exist for item," "Increase Parts List," "and "Decrease Parts List."

Are these messages generated by R3482, or--as the name implies--something a user entered? If it is the former, how can I get these messages not to show up? I saw that one way to get messages not to show is remove their code from UDC 34/MT, but the A warning message that the lead time is zero is important so I do not want to delete "A" from UDC 34/MT.
