Order got Sales updated when the Customer is Inactive

Hi,

It is Oracle JDE 9.2.6.1

We have existing sales order awaiting for the Invoice and Sales update. During this time, user inactivated the Customer in AB Search type and Billing info of Customer master. But system allowed to invoice the order and Sales updated. Whether it will allow? How we can stop? We cannot put the hard hold code in the order when the customer is inactive as it is not allowing us to update any fields.

Kindly help on this request
