JD Edwards 9.2 Canadian Payroll CPP2 starting before CPP1 limit is reached

Hi,

We have JDE 9.2 Canadian Payroll. I have a situation that sounds like a bug that was already entered: Bug 26386010. But they closed that bug only discussing what happened with CPP1. They didn't discuss the fact that CPP2 started.

What I'm seeing is that just prior to an employee's 70th birthday the system starts moving some wages into excess wages and then calculating CPP2 on those.

Does anyone else see this? Is it correct that CPP2 would never be taken out until the CPP1 limit is reached?
