How to stop creating new Work Order on an asset having WO in-progress?

Hi team,

We are on Oracle R12.2.9. Our management has decided to stop further maintenance of few of our assets (identified as very old). There are work orders in-progress on these assets.

Is there any way to stop making new work orders on an asset while allowing existing work orders to complete as normal flow?
