we have received an error -

APP-BOM-20273 component item sequence exists for this operation sequence and date range.

User is trying to change the operation Sequence from 3500 to 1 of component - XYZ under BOM and is getting above error. attached image for reference.

as per my understanding we have operation sequence 1 for same component XYZ having

From date- 26-SEP-2016 01:02:26 and end dated on 14-NOV-2017 10:48:11

and Same component XYZ with OP SEQ 3500 got added in BOM on dated 30-JUN-2017 12:04:57 …

now user wants to change Op Seq from 3500 to 1 and getting this error.

I believe it is due to From date of component XYZ having Qp Seq - 3500 is falls in the time span date of same components having Op Seq 1 ( 26-SEP-2016 01:02:26 to 14-NOV-2017 10:48:11) and failing the validation.
