Is there a way to add Excel as a Report format option?

Due to discontinuation of HFR, we are planning to migrate our financial reports to Reporting.

One thing I noticed was that for Financial reports, we have 3 options; pdf, html and xlsx.

But on migrating to Reports, we only have pdf and html

I'm aware that you can open the report and export it as excel using report actions but just wanted to know if there is any way to add it with pdf and html.
