Container Database (CDB$ROOT) GUID not matching in v$containers and actual ASM directory name

Hi,

We are trying to write a script which relies on comparing GUID for Container and PDBs with actual folder name in ASM.

While GUID name from v$containers matches with ASM folder name for PDBs, but that's not the case with CDB$ROOT.

Can anyone please point out why is this so?

Example :

CDB$ROOT GUID from v$container: 86B637B62FDF7A65E053F706E80A29CA

Folder Name from ASM : 86B637B62FE07A65E053F706E80A29CA
