EBS R12 | ER: Use Party Tax Profile "Tax Classification" as a Determining Factor in tax rules.

Proposing an enhancement request to allow for the usage of the "Tax Classification" value of a party's Tax Profile to be used as a Determining Factor in tax rules.

Under the responsibility: Receivables Manager > Customers > Customers

When looking at a customer's party record on the Tax Profile page there is a field called "Tax Classification that has a Tip which reads: "Select a tax classification to use as a determining factor in tax rules."

After logging an SR with Oracle support, the support technician reported that they "do not believe it is possible to use Determining Factor Name = Tax Classification"
