Opatch Applied Patch to multiple ORA_HOMES

I applied two patches to our TEST oracle_home yesterday evening to resolve security vulnerabilities.

Upon investigation this morning (to check that the applied patches mitigated said vulnerabilities) it appears that OPATCH has applied the patches to the TEST & LIVE oracle_homes..

I'm assuming this is not expected behaviour of OPATCH? OPATCH was run from the TEST ORAHOME location.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?
